In Aceh province, Sumatran island, Indonesia, 3 Sumatran tigers were caught in snare traps near palm oil plantations are, according to the report, it says that there is bad injuries in the legs, and hours later they found a body of a female tiger about 500 meters away from the first location still with a snare still embedded in her neck and legs. The 3 tigers were founded dead because of the traps, however, the person who sets the trap is from the community and plantation company in the area but they still didn’t know who sets it. 

According to the report it happened on Monday but it seems like the person who sets the trap hasn’t got back there yet. They set the trap in the area to get the tigers killed because near the area there is a civilization, the tigers went to the village for food and their other needs like water, food etc. To prevent that the civilizations put traps in there so the tigers won’t be able to come near the village. 

After the 3 tigers died because of the traps, the tigers there will be more endangered or maybe go extinct if things like this happen again and it might cause many problems such as broken ecosystems and if that happens the trees might die and we might lose oxygens, loss of food and other bad impacts that can harm or maybe kill us. Tigers around the area may also attack the village as they respond to this case and might kill the civilizations in the village. “We strongly condemn this incident... if the tests reveal there's intentional action that caused the deaths of these protected species, we will take strict action," head of Aceh conservation agency Agus Arianto told AFP on Monday.
