Russia has demolished thousands of buildings in Ukraine's capital city, Kyiv. Millions of Ukrainians are forced to flee to neighbouring countries due to their homes being majorly destroyed. Russia’s attack on Ukraine has killed thousands and forced more than two million people to leave the country. The US Parliament approved a total package of $ 15 trillion to help the people. According to datasets and statistics posted from worldwide news, 3,459 Ukrainian civilians were killed and 238 of them were children, and 3.33m Ukrainian refugees crossed the border due to the war as of May 2022. These countries have been sending aid to kids, money donations, military weapons, tanks and soldiers. The Ukraine president, Volodymyr Zelenskyy, has announced that Ukrainians that decide to still stay in Ukraine must stay in underground bunkers or even in subway stations to be guided to safety. During their lockdown in their bunkers, citizens find it harder to access things due to poor sources, especially water and food. But luckily, countries like Germany, Poland and the US try to make a safe place in their country especially for Ukrainian refugees so that they can be guided to safety, They provide a good amount of medicine, aid kits, food, water, protection and shelter. Ukrainian sources estimate that 20,000 citizens were killed during the Russian siege of Mariupol, and satellite photographs show a mass grave near the city. Russian soldiers have been bombarding the city with aerial bombardments for weeks, killing hundreds of people. Following its unsuccessful attempt to conquer Kyiv, Russia began a fresh massive operation in eastern Ukraine on April 18. In the end, Ukrainian soldiers, citizens, and supporters are working hard for their country, especially soldiers who have sacrificed many things for Ukraine. Some Russian citizens are against Putin as well, they have opened up a protest where they protest about giving justice to Ukraine.“Russia has demolished thousands of buildings in Ukraine's capital city, Kyiv”
